The Breakfast not enough to sit and have breakfast, some sitting in the lobby, we had to take our breakfast up to our room. There was not a varity of coffee like in the picture. The two men at the front desk made no effort to accomadate the ones standing around. We had a problem with our key working, the cleaning lady called down stairs for us and said the front desk had no listing of us. Had to go back downstairs and then they found us. The carpet in the elavator, cleaning would not help, you need to replace. The parking levels and the hotel floors do not match. We parked on level 3 but once entering we were on the 2nd floor. Did not know there was room service till the day we were checking out. No room service, just a delivery of towels, no do not distrub sign. Bugs in the room. Well not be returning.

We booked our reservation on-line the night before arrival. We were going to be getting in late so I called ahead to make sure the reservation was received. The staff was very friendly and let me know there would be no problem. Check in went very smooth. The room was clean and very comfortable. There is a Denny's just a couple blocks away and it is a short walk downtown. We parked in the parking garage which was nice. One afternoon we were in our room when housekeeping came. We just said we needed some clean towels. They were very apologetic and explained they were behind, we didn't mind. We didn't expect it but they came back while we were out and finished the cleaning in the room. We would definately stay here again. The staff always greeted us when we walked through the lobby. The price we paid was a great value for how close we were to downtown and the riverwalk. We love San Antonio!

We stayed in this hotel at least 6-8 years ago when it was much newer. We stayed here last week during spring break and it was very busy. The rooms are clean and the front desk associates were very helpful. The only problem we had was that the A/C did not cool the room below about 76 degrees and we were on the west side of the building with all the afternoon sun. They did respond quickly to my call the repair it though. All in all, it's an ok place to stay downtown because of the price.
